Instructions for Filling Out Application

(All information submitted is secure)

Please make sure you have the following before beginning your application:
  • Drivers license number
  • Social Security number
  • At least 3 personal and 3 professional childcare references with phone numbers
  • Employment history
  • Education history
Make sure you fill in every field, even if you simply need to put "NA" (not applicable)
Once you complete the application in full, we should be in touch with you within 3 business days.

Although you do not need all of the below to apply online, please note that all positions require:

  • Current, Valid Drivers License
  • Auto Insurance (if driving children)
  • Social Security Card or passport
  • Fluent in English
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 personal and 3 professional references
  • One year minimum experience
  • An in-person interview with the agency
  • Current infant/child CPR/1st Aid certification (See CPR Resources)
  • A "What If" Assessment
Consent to background checks (in all states you have had residence) for
  • Identity verification
  • Fingerprints
  • Education verification
  • Criminal Background Check (county, state, national)
  • Sex offender
  • Violent offender

In addition, you may be required by a family to have:

  • Drug screening
  • Blood/Urine test
  • Negative TB skin test results
  • Credit check
  • Shaken Baby Syndrome class
  • Reliable transportation
