Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
My calling is to continue teach and continue to work with children and families. I will finish my Masters Degree in Curriculum & Instruction. I hope to have two children of my own and have the welcomed experience of being a parent.

In about five years, definitely before I'm 30 for this goal, I will be traversing a continent. My next goal is to travel to Chile and visit some family we know there. I will probably not take the easy flight there.. and I will definitely see Machu Picchu on my way down.

For the first time in my life, I can actually say I see myself doing exactly the same thing I am doing now. I will still be caring for children, some in the same families and some brand new.

What are your hobbies?
My hobbies, when I am able to get back to them, are black and white photography using a manual camera. I love to take long walks and explore neighborhoods. I have a particular interest in houses and their history. I also often walk around the UT campus since I live so close. I go to art shows and live performances at the Ballet and Opera. I swim alot in the summer, bike ride when I can and do pilates on my own equipment. I have 4 kittie cats and a number of plants that I take cuttings from and give to friends. I read both current events and novels and am a movie watcher. I also still sew by hand when I can, often just mending at this point. I used to cook alot as well.

I would love to run or head a specialized horse back riding program where underprivileged community kids can work as an apprentice, and earn lessons. I feel that being able to ride horses is a passion for many but a reality for so few because of the expense. It's a dream of mine to one day give back to the community that way.

Though I would love to find that special person to commit to sooner rather than later, I am preparing to focus on applying to a graduate program in the sciences. The preparation itself will be a process, and in five years I will hopefully be in the midst of attaining my higher degree.

A typical week involves me playing with my dog, and getting a work-out in at least three of the days. I enjoy studying languages- fluent in Spanish, I go to Portuguese Language Meet-ups to practice and to meet new people. However, on a more personal level, I would also love to be in a committed serious relationship with someone who shares my values.

I love to cook and bake. Some of my favorite recipes are creamy pesto chicken with pasta, roasted sweet potatoes, and zucchini muffins! My mom and grandmother taught me how to bake when I was a little girl and I have loved it ever since. I also really enjoy jewelry making and reading. I love to go to parks or coffee shops and read. I also like swimming and outdoor activities like hiking and camping. My family owns a cabin in Ruidoso, New Mexico so during the winter we usually go up there to hike and ski.

I honestly can't see myself doing anything else. I have been working with children since 1990 and I feel like I have found my niche in this area. Every day is new and teaches me something.

What are your hobbies?
Cooking is a blast! Road trips to visit friends are great as well. Reading or watching a good movie is fun during alone time. I practicce Bikram yoga also. It keeps me stress free and feeling healthy. Every once in a while I like a good book that can hold my attention.

I have recently started to think about going to graduate school for Behavioral Neuroscience. If I decide to go, then in five years I might be back in school! If not, a dream of mine is to work in medical device sales, so I might try to pursue that goal if graduate school isn't the direction for me. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I see myself happily working with a family that I have been with for a while by then and still here in Austin, Texas.

What are your hobbies?
I don't usually have time for hobbies, but when I do have free time I like to spend quality family time with my five grown children and my grandson, cook, and read.

No matter what I do, children will always be a big part of my life. Right now I have a junior and senior in college, so in five yeats I hope I'm a grandmother.

I sew and crochet. My husband and I also ride bicycles.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In 5 years I see myself with my wonderful husband in Austin, Texas still living a beautiful life. I see myself having traveled the world more, taken a few more cooking classes, learned a mountain of new things, laughed at numerous jokes, cried a few more tears, and finally taught myself how to knit. I also hope to be working a job that makes me feel fulfilled, respected, challenged, and happy.

What are your hobbies?
First of all I love to spend time with my husband and friends. My favorite thing in the world to do is just sit around and talk with the people I love and laugh until no sound comes out. Another favorite past time of mine is traveling. Whether it is across the state or across the world, I enjoy learning about other cultures and seeing how beautiful and different the rest of the world is. Ever since I was little my mother has called me her little mermaid because I love to be in the water in any way, shape, or form. I have taught swimming but I also like tubing down the Guadalupe river, snorkeling, sailing, and even just laying by the pool and reading. Cooking is another passion of mine. I have been cooking since I was tall enough to reach the kitchen counter and my mother was my greatest motivation for that.I even taught my husband to cook when we first started dating so it has since become one of our favorite past times. Finally, no matter what kind of mood I am in or how busy my day has been I can always find time to read. I read all sorts of books, my favorite being fantasy fiction. I just love how reading takes you to another place.

I see myself as a Neonatal Occupational Therapists at a major hospital, and hopefully getting ready to start a family of my own!

I love to work out and be active. Good health is very important to me, and I work hard to make sure I eat well and keep in shape. Although school is the reason for all of my stress, I do somewhat find doing well in my classes a hobby. Of course, I also love to shop.

camping, gardening, garage sales, antique shops, flea markets, reading self-help books, scrapbooking, socializing with my grown children, happy hours with lady friends, playing with my cats and dogs, children's arts / crafts.... I hope to have finished my Child Development degree and receive my teachers certificate, my Psychology degree, and hopefully be almost finished with my Business Administration degree. This is all to prepare me to have my own business of either opening a family child care or foster home. We will be married and hopefully looking to start a family of our own. I want to be confident in my education and already be looking in to ways to finance my dream. Until my dream comes true, be at a job I love and will give me the experience I need.

I love to play tennis, read both fictional and educational books. I enjoy taking walks, talking to friends, yoga, arts and crafts, and playing board games with friends and family to name a few. I enjoy babysitting for my friends kids, taking long rides, going to concerts, visiting different places, hand gliding, skydiving, parsailiing. I soon hope to bungee jump, go rock climbing, and tour all of Europe. The way I look at it, life is too short to not do the things you want to do in life. If you see it on TV or hear it from a friend and think its cool and want to do it. Than my logic is JUST DO IT! I spent most of my life hiding from the things i was interested in, and it lead to a sad life. Now I am full of energy, excited about life, and happier than I have ever been and energetic to tell my story.

Not sure where I will be, but hopefully I will be happy :)

I love going to movies,sports, hiking, camping, listening to music, reading, I LOVE animals!-so spending time with my dog, Bentley!, girly things including shopping, singing, dancing, and laughing :) I love Austin so much, so anytime I get to explore the outdoors, and city is my favorite! In 5 years I am determined to have my degree and my career. I hope that at 30-31 years old I have a strong foundation so that I too can start my own family and enjoy life without exams.

What are your hobbies?
I am a very athletic young woman and the sky is the limit to what activities I can do. I am a Texas girl, so for me the hot weather doesn't get me down. I go bike riding, swim in the springs, play different sports (if my schedule permits), love catching some live music shows and whatever else is out that catches my attention. Family is very important to me so I make sure to enjoy a lot of family gatherings as well.

I believe I will be in childcare for the next 5, 10 or even 20 years. I really enjoy being a nanny. I am currently finishing my bachelor's degree in psychology because I want to understand the child's developmental stages better and enhance my career.

I love to scrapbook! I take photos constantly and spend a lot of free time making my own books. I am a Girl Scout troop mom. We are an active troop. The girls learn life skills (cooking, mending all manner of items, and cleaning up after themselves),career options(computer skills, speaking with ladies in various careers, volunteer service projects, people skills (manners, socializing, understanding different cultures as well as working with the handicapped), survival skills (camping and wilderness skills and first aid), and animal skills (volunteering at local Humane societies). I was a Sunday School teacher for 2 year olds for 7 years at Redeemer Lutheran Church in North Austin. I teach First Aid / CPR / AED through the American Red Cross to the troop leaders of the Girl Scouts of Central Texas But most importantly I am a mom to a beautiful well rounded 12 yr. old daughter.
