| | Do you have any options other than a full-service placement? |
| | Yes, Nannies from the Heart (NH) is the first Austin agency to offer a unique way to let families search for the best home child care available at an affordable price with a proven process. The Recruitment and Screening Service is ideal for families who are already familiar with the process for interviewing and hiring a nanny, or they are confident they can do the research and spend the time necessary to "do it on their own."
The key benefit of the service is that you start with the same screened, background-checked, top-of-the-line candidates that are referred to our full-service clients. Why scour through online services from national franchises or post your search to the thousands of unqualified job-seekers on internet sites like Craigslist when you can start your search with a pool of the best nannies in Austin?
Each nanny candidate responding to your job needs…
• Meets the same experience requirements for all our candidate referrals and submits a detailed application for review. • Is fingerprinted and undergoes a state criminal history background check. (And upon your selection of a candidate, we perform and additional rigorous background check--driving record, identity check, sex offender, and national criminal history database search—before they begin work.) • Is interviewed personally by NH staff. • Submits personal and work references for you to verify. • Completes infant & child First Aid/CPR certification. What's the Process?

| | How does Nannies From The Heart Compare to Other Agencies? |
| | Nannies from the heart differs from other agencies because...
- We have the best guarantee for nanny replacements
- We come out to YOUR HOME to meet you and your family in person!
- Your placement specialist conducts your entire search from start to finish!
- We have authentic, real-life materials (job descriptions, work agreements, time sheets etc), taken from life experiences from moms dads and nannies...not just from a book!
- We do not train our nannies to be nannies. They either have what it takes or they don't. There is a passion for children that we look for, a "spark" if you will!
- We conduct the best screening process on our nannies, not just background checks and reference checks. Your specialist interviews and conducts personality assessments on all of the nannies you meet.
- Our prices are reasonable because we do not have fancy overhead.
- We are specialists in our field and we are the agency with a lot of great resources and connections to the community...from music classes to doulas to errand services and more. And all referrals are FREE!
- We are local and committed to the community and the best care for our children. We are not franchised.
- The placement coordinator working with you is a mom, business owner and was a professional nanny, so we know and understand the needs of families, children, those with careers, and nannies. No one in Austin can offer this expertise! We listen, understand and get it!
